For decorative reasons, the demand for extra-large Diasec Plexi formats has increased significantly. This led to the development of the Diasec Plexi XXL.
The maximum dimensions are 200 × 300 cm. Our imaging technicians have the expertise to apply AI technology to your files if desired, ensuring a perfectly produced large-format image.
For every Diasec Plexi XXL, we offer a professional test print free of charge. This test is mounted behind the chosen plexi – glossy or satin – and shows a 1:1 image section at full scale. You can review this test with our technicians at the photolab or have it shipped to you. In the latter case, only packaging and shipping costs are charged.
From a width of 160 cm, we use Canon UV inkjet printing technology on specially selected Fine Art papers compatible with the Diasec process.
These papers are acid-free and contain no optical brighteners, ensuring long-lasting color stability without yellowing over time.
The print quality is exceptional, ideal for artworks intended to be admired from a distance.
For a spectacular, monumental result, the image is applied directly behind glossy plexiglass (face-mounting). This technique ensures absolute sharpness and exceptionally intense colors, even in large format. The glossy Diasec Plexi enhances the sense of depth and makes your images even more vibrant and powerful, for an impressive and prestigious presentation. The plexiglass protects the artwork from dust, air pollution, and harmful UV rays, ensuring long-lasting, unchanging beauty.

Mounted directly behind satin plexiglass (face-mounting), your artwork achieves unmatched sharpness and vibrant, intense colors, even at monumental scale. The satin finish minimizes distracting reflections, allowing every detail to shine – perfect for museums, public spaces, or projects with strong lighting. The plexiglass protects your piece from dust, pollution, and harmful UV rays, ensuring a long-lasting, timeless display that continues to impress.
The Diasec Plexi/Dibond is part of our Diasec Budget, Baryta, and Metallic solutions, as well as all our Diasec Floating Frames. This finish ensures an elegant and durable presentation, but please note that the edges cannot be polished with this process.
Diasec Plexi/Plexi is standardly finished with polished edges. This treatment gives your Diasec a refined shine and a prestigious appearance, perfect for the most exquisite presentations. Please note that this exclusive finish is not compatible with a frame.
The black plexiglass background provides a subtle visual enhancement of your artwork through the edges. With this finish, the edges are also polished, creating an elegant and refined appearance. Please note that this exclusive finish is not compatible with a frame.
Option: Enhance your artwork with white borders from 2 to 15 cm when ordering online. The borders are added to your image without cropping any part of the original artwork.
